Ingredients:
2 cup whole wheat flour or 200gm
3/4 cup powder sugar or 75gm
1 tsp salt
3 tsp oil
2 tsp black caraway
2 Egg
Water if required
Oil for deep frying
Method:
For making tip pithe first we have to take all the dry ingredients flour, salt, sugar, black caraway seed in a big and mix all together. Add oil into the dry ingredients and mix well you will see that after mixing oil it forms a crumble like texture. Crack 2 eggs and put it into the mixture. Mix it and try to form a stiff dough. Add water only if required and knead it to form a stiff dough. Make a ball from the dough and dust it with some flour. Roll the ball into 1/2 mm thickens. Cut it with a round cutter. I use any coke bottle cap too. Take the circles and join two sides of it to form a semi-circle. Take the other two ends and join it together. Once done heat some oil in a kadhai or any heavy bottom pan once the oil is hot add pithe and start frying it in low heat till its golden brown. Once done remove it from oil let it cool. Your crispy sweet and salty tip pithe is ready. Serve it with some tea.
